2025 Season
Hello,
Like you, we are eagerly anticipating the new season and looking forward to your visit to our rivers. We kindly invite all members to join us on March 29, 2025, for the traditional clean-up event of the banks of the Idrijca, Kanomljica, and Cerknica rivers. An official invitation and more information will follow in the coming weeks.
We would also like to inform you that there have been some changes to the Fishing Regulations, so we kindly encourage you to read them. You can find them under: ABOUT US – REGULATIONS – Fishing Regulations.

We would like to remind you again that on the section of the Trophy district between the bridge near Mostičer (Mokraška village) and the main bridge in Sp. Idrija is only allowed to fish with a DRY FLY.

Fly fishing exposition in Idrija
Idrija Fishing Club has set up a fly fishing exposition in Idrija city center. One can see how a fully equipped fly fisherman looks like next to a huge trophy size Idrijca marble trout. Underneath both you can observe fly tying tools and artificial flies that we use for fly fishing.
If you are a youngster, come and check out the exposition for info on how to enlist to our club.

Although the assembly of members is not a public event, its implementation may be contrary to the recommendations of the competent institutions.
